Frequently Asked Questions
A 30% deposit is required to reserve the trip. A deposit is refunded in the event of inclement weather (and we cannot reschedule) 7 days notice, or for any reason of the business. The weather is unpredictable, and the radar is monitored up to an hour before the trip. If the radar is showing heavy rain or lightning, we will call the trip. If the radar is showing light rain, we will let you decide. The remaining balance is due after the trip. We appreciate cash or Venmo to avoid fees, but we do accept credit (plus taxes and fees) for your convenience.
Our "Pup Pontoon" is our pet friendly boat!
"Bougie Blue", "Dive Deck", and "Shoal Stoppa" or not pet approved.
We offer guided fishing charters on inshore and deep sea boats. However, you are welcome to bring your own gear and license for fishing on the island during the pontoons and catamaran tours.
Arrive 10 minutes prior to your trip. The entrance is the last black gate on your left. The captain will be there to direct you on where to park.
Although we do see dolphin frequently, we cannot predict when or if we will see them.
A well-maintained boat with an experienced, licensed Captain, fuel, blue tooth speaker, and USCG approved life jackets.
Depends on your ideal trip! We recommend swimsuits , water shoes/sandals, and sunscreen (apply before boarding). or dress to impress for a stylish cruise. We are on the water... there is a chance of getting wet!
Food, drinks (alcohol is allowed!) coolers (or use ours), towels, bag for treasures, and bucket for clamming.
Food, drinks (beer is allowed, but no hard alcohol), water resistant shoes, cooler for catch, and tip for the mate (15-20% customary).
Yes! Each pontoon is equipped with a floating mat!
Keeping in mind that the captain's time and fuel are incorporated into the fees, the time starts when we leave our dock. Depending on your location, we will accommodate! Call to discuss! (910) 705-7286.
We can take up to 6 passengers per vessel, infant to senior, within the maximum weight capacity.
There are bathrooms at the dock, and nearby restaurants. The pontoons and fishing vessels do not have a toilet. A quick swim is also always an option.
We have been successful over our several years in business, however everyday cannot be the best day. It's about the experience of the adventure, and what you make of it. We do our best to provide the best experience. It's cheaper to buy the fish from the market or the shells from the gift shop 🤣
We find shells and sharks teeth at all times of the day, although our best luck is during low tide, during the week, and in the morning when foot traffic is less.
The 2 hour and 4 hour Topsail excursions allow time to stop (or pick up food to eat on the boat) at the Riverview Cafe. Call your order ahead of time, and we can ride to their dock!
Book the 4 Hour Surf City or Swansboro tour to eat in/take out at several restaurants.
We have several different routes, as time and the law allows. We offer 2 & 4 hour trips to tour North Topsail and allow you to choose the Real Estate route or a scenic, nature route. We also offer 4 hour tours to Surf City and Swansboro, departing from our dock in Sneads Ferry.
